SHOTS: All dogs must have the bordetella shot given within the last six months, given at least 7 day before arrival. Distemper, Rabies. A type of flea / tick PRODUCT FROM YOUR VET must be given monthly. (every 3 months with Bravecto) Owners are required to keep this updated themselves.

AGGRESSIVE: Dogs that are determined by RED DOOR KENNEL, INC staff to be a threat to staff, themselves, or other guests will not be accepted to stay at Red Door Kennel, Inc.. Owners may be called to come and pick up their dog early if determined as such. (You will be charged full price.) These dogs will not be accepted back unless there is proof of professional training and determined safe by RED DOOR KENNEL, INC staff.

We reserve the right to deny any dog due to behavioral or health concerns, no required shots. (no wolf mixes).

If your dog is making any weird noises, please let me know before arrival. We have the right to deny any dog due to behavior issues, health, or exposure to health conditions.

For everyone's safety... We NO LONGER ACCEPT unfixed dogs over 12 months.
We reserve the right to deny any dog due to behavioral or health concerns. (no wolf mixes). If your dog is asked to leave due to behavior or health needs, you will be charged full price for the whole stay. We have the right to ask to meet your dog before booking with us to see if it will be a good match.

Distemper, and Rabies are also required and must be in their bodies at least 7 days before arrival if they were allowed to expire.
A current Flea /tick product purchased FROM A VET must be used (given monthly unless it is Bravecto). If not, RED DOOR KENNEL, INC will ask you to leave.

DROP OFF/ PICK UP hours: M-F 8 am - 10 AM or 4 pm- 6 pm by appointment 

                                              Saturday and Sunday 7pm-9 pm by appointment


MEDICATIONS: Medications can be administered while staying. I have to have the original bottle with the ingredients and mg listed. Written directions need to be left with the RED DOOR KENNEL, INC staff. There will be $1 charge for each medication or extras that are added to one's food each time administered. We do not do injection shots.

CANCELLATION POLICY: If you choose to pick up your dog more than 24 hours of what you had scheduled, you will be asked to pay 100% of the stay you had reserved. Proof of current shots should be submitted BEFORE arrival.

If you cancel your reservation more than 3 days before expected arrival, there will be no cancellation fee. If you cancel your reservation less than 3 days in advance, you will be responsible to pay 50% of the fee you would have been charged if you had stayed.

If I have to cancel your stay because you do not have updated shots for your dog, you will be charged 50% of what you would have paid.

IF you were asked to leave due to behavior or health reasons, you will be charged the full price.

TOURS: Tours will be given by appointment on Mondays or Tuesdays. All proof of shots must be submitted before the tour and be given at least 7 days before arrival. There is also a virtual tour on our FB page.

CHECK- IN PROCESS: Drop the dog at the main office (or where directed) on a leash. We may meet you outside for health reasons. Staff will check you in and ask for an approximate pick up time. Current shot updates and forms should be submitted BEFORE arrival. I must have an emergency contact person and phone number. If your bill will be over $200, you will be asked to put $100 down at drop off.

These forms need to be filled out, signed and handed in before the dog's first stay. The only times they need to be filled out again is if medication, diet, address, food, policies, etc, change since the last stay.

WHAT TO BRING: *Updated shot record, * medications * food labelled with amount needed in a hard container.
optional: bed/blanket, treats
DO NOT BRING: rawhides, bowls, toys

CHECK- OUT PROCESS: For people's and dog's safety, a phone call or text should be given to Sandy about 30 minutes prior to check out.

PAYMENT: Full Payment is due upon pick up. If your bill will be over $200, you will be asked to put some money down. CASH OR CHECK ONLY!

SAFETY: For everyone's safety, if your dog can jump or climb the six foot fence, he/ she will be asked to leave immediately. We need to keep everyone as safe as we can.

SPAY/ NEUTERING: An extra cleaning fee may be charged if needed. Any damage to property done will be paid for by the owner. RED DOOR KENNEL, INC is not responsible for unplanned pregnancies.

SKUNK: IF your dog has been sprayed by a skunk, the dog needs to be odor free upon arrival.

HOLIDAYS: There will be a “holiday pay” of $30 charged on the following holidays: New Year’s Day, Easter Sunday, Memorial Day, July 4th, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day.
Open for dogs.... But No Drop off or Pick ups on Thanksgiving or Christmas Day.

ILLNESS: If a dog appears ill, the owner will be contacted to come and get the dog immediately. The dog will be quarantined if needed. IF the vet needs to be contacted, the owner will be responsible for all vet bills. A transportation fee will be charged if RED DOOR KENNEL, INC has to transport the dog to the vet. The owner could be charged extra if extra cleaning etc needs to be done because of their dog.

FOOD: Food should be labelled in a hard container as to how much they should eat, and brand of food.
ALLERGIES: RED DOOR KENNEL, INC needs to be notified of any allergies and have an emergency plan for your dog.

RED DOOR KENNEL Inc is licensed to house 40 dogs at a time.
RED DOOR KENNEL Inc will do everything they can to keep your dog safe during their stay at the kennel. If any medical attention would be needed, we will be in contact with the owner and a vet.
RED DOOR KENNEL Inc will provide a separate space for each family.

In case of emergency, your dog will be taken to the nearest available vet. Your signature below authorizes, in your absence, transportation, and treatment as deemed best by the veterinarian. You will be responsible for all associated expenses and will be billed directly by the vet's office. You will be charged for mileage and “time away from the kennel fee also.

Red Door Kennel agrees to exercise diligence and responsible care to keep the kennel sanitary, and properly enclosed. We are dedicated to providing a safe, loving, and fun environment for your dog(s) and will take reasonable and necessary precautions to ensure the security of our guests.

Notice:
We at Red Door Kennel, Inc will do everything we can to prevent these conditions in the open run areas, however....
 

1. There is a slight risk of fights, resulting in possible injury or death to your dog when he/she is playing with other dogs.

2. There is a slight risk of disease transmission, resulting in possible injury or death to your dog.

I hereby do not hold Red Door Kennel, Inc. it's agents, employees, contractors, pet owners, customers, potential customers, and all those involved of any and all liabilities, financial or otherwise, responsible for the behavior and health of my pet arising in connection with such services. I waive any and all actions claims, or demands of any nature, either foreseen or unforeseen, that I may have against RED DOOR KENNEL, INC relating to the care, control, health and safety of my pet arising in connection with the services that are rendered by RED DOOR KENNEL, INC party.

RED DOOR KENNEL, INC has the right to reject any dog (s) due to behaviors, health, ability to jump or climb 6 foot fences or exposure to health issues or any reason that may harm the other guests at the kennel.

I hereby authorize those working with RED DOOR KENNEL, INC do whatever they deem necessary for the safety, health and well-being of my pet while under the care of RED DOOR KENNEL, INC.

By signing below, I acknowledge that I have read this agreement. I also am stating that my dog is not ill, and has not been around any other ill dog in the last month. I agree to this release of liability in its entirety and agree to the terms. I am totally responsible for all vet bills that may occur while staying at RED DOOR KENNEL, Inc.

This agreement shall be binding for every time services are rendered at RED DOOR KENNEL INC on my behalf.
